俄罗斯最杰出的合唱指挥大师2009再度登陆中国引爆音乐界

  2009中国齐齐哈尔国际合唱指挥大师班,中国教育学会音乐专业委员会合唱学术委员会换届大会将于8月10日-16日将在齐齐哈尔大学举行。
  波里斯·杰夫林现任俄音乐家协会副会长,莫斯科柴科夫斯基音乐学院教授,指挥系主任。他是俄罗斯最杰出的合唱指挥家,有着55年的合唱指挥经验,由于他的杰出成就,获得了俄罗斯联邦人民艺术家称号,获得了俄罗斯荣誉勋章。他的指挥艺术在国际上得到广泛承认,有评论认为他“不仅是惊人的音乐家和艺术家,同时也是具有深奥知识和生动的实际能力的杰出的合唱指挥大师。”
  波里斯·杰夫林带领的合唱团曾多次出访奥地利、瑞士、意大利、美国、德国、波兰、法国、日本等国家,参加过多次国际合唱比赛,并于2002年参加韩国奥运合唱比赛。他还多次在俄罗斯、保加利亚、匈牙利、以色列、意大利、中国、美国、法国和南斯拉夫等国家举行过大师班授课。
  杰夫林曾三次来到中国,第一次是1989年到北京的中央乐团授课,第二次是1999年到上海的爱乐合唱团,第三次是2007年到中国音乐学院授课。2009年8月到北京演出和到齐齐哈尔大学授课是他第四次中国之行。
  杰夫林的教学以“严格”著称。他虽已是快80岁的人了,但精力充沛,教学严谨,所有作品指挥均背谱,每个手势都给得准确无误。他的指挥具有稳健持重的大将风度,手势精于心,简于形,准确而漂亮,传递出难以言说的动人情怀,永久地定格在首都观众的视线里。2007年9月14日,杰夫林率中国音乐学院青年爱乐合唱团在北京国图音乐厅举办俄罗斯作品音乐会,吸引了国内众多合唱领域权威人士前来观摩。

  Boris Tevlin, one of Russia’s most distinguished choral conductors, was born in Saratov, and completed his musical training at the Moscow Conservatory in 1957, specialising as a choral conductor (taught by Professor Vasily Mukhin) and organist (taught by Professor Alexander Gedike). He went on to obtain a post-graduate degree in 1962 under the direction of Professor Alexander Sveshnikov.
  For 40 years (1953-1993) Boris Tevlin’s work as a professional conductor was linked with the Moscow Youth and Student Choir. He led the Choir to victory at a number of international competitions: Guido d’Arezzo (Italy 1970), Tallinn (Estonia, 1972), Varna (Bulgaria, 1975), Cork (Ireland, 1981) and Tolosa (Spain, 1989).
  Boris Tevlin has been a teacher at the Moscow Conservatory since 1959, where he holds a professorship and heads the faculty of choral conducting. Professor Tevlin has been awarded state prizes and a number of other distinctions, including People’s Artist of Russia, the Order of Honor, the Order of Holy Prince Daniel of the Russian Orthodox Church, and membership of the Union of Russian Composers.
  From 1979 to 1991 Boris Tevlin headed the Students Choir of the Moscow Conservatory, Under his direction the Conservatory choral faculty began extensive concert work both in the USSR and abroad (in Hungary, Germany, Poland and France), as well as making a large number of recordings.
  In 1987 Boris Tevlin founded the Mixed Choir of Russian Conductors and Choir Masters, which has achieved much renown, and in 1994 he became leader of the Russian-American Choir.



  In 1995 Boris Tevlin founded the Chamber Choir of the Moscow Conservatory. The Choir already has a number of international awards to its credit. In 1998 it won the Grand Prix and two gold medals at the Riva del Garda International Choral Festival in Italy. The Choir took first prize and the gold medal at the first Brahms International Choral Competition at Wernigerode in Germany in 1999. In 2003 the Choir won first prize at the twenty-second International Festival of Orthodox Church Music at Hajnuwka in Poland. And the Moscow ensemble was the winner of the first World Choral Olympics at Linz in Austria in 2000.
  The Choir has toured in Austria (the Gidon Kremer Festival in Lockenhaus), Switzerland (the Sofia Gubaidulina Festival in Zurich), Italy (The Fabbrica del canto Festival), the US (the sxith International Choral Music Forum in Minneapolis, where the Chamber Choir was the only Russian participant), Germany (the ninth Uzedom Music Festival), Poland (performance of music by Krystof Penderecki and John Tavener in the presence of the composers), France (the second Biennale d’art vocal), and Japan (Festival of Russian culture in Japan 2006).
  The Choir has taken part in many international music festivals in Moscow, including the December Evenings in Honor of Svyatoslav Richter, Valery Gergiev’s Easter Festival, the Alfred Schnittke Memorial Festival, Moscow Autumn, and Self Portrait of Rodion Shchedrin.
  Recordings by the Choir include programs of 20th century choral music, a cappella works by Alfred Schnittke, and music by Sergei Rakhmaninov, Sofia Gubaidulina, Roman Ledenyov, Dmitry Shostakovich, Rodion Shchedrin, and American composers.
   Professor Tevlin has held master classes in Russia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Israel, Italy, China, the US, France and Yugoslavia. He serves as Jury Chairman at the Russian choral competitions, Singing Russia and Sounds of Moscow, and has also been a jury member at many international choral competitions, including the World Choral Olympics in Seoul (Korea, 2002) and in Bremen (Germany, 2004).
   Boris Tevlin has written a large number of specialist articles, reviews, artistic portraits and memoirs. In 2001 Muzika Publishers brought out a book devoted to Professor Tevlin’s art, Boris Tevlin, a Choral Journey, compiled by Valeriya Tsenova.
  From 2005 – music head of the Autumn Choral festival of the Moscow Conservatory.
  In 2007 – professor Boris Tevlin was founded, artistic director, conductor of master-class «National Youth Choir of Russian Conservatories».
  From 2008 – artistic director and conductor of Russian state chorus named after A.V. Sveshnikov.
